South Florida's Economy: Unemployment remains low in South Florida

Still, Florida's consumers are more worried about their wallets than they've been in five years.Miami-Dade and Broward counties added 26,400 jobs over the past year, a 1.1 percent gain, according to figures from the state's labor agency. Unemployment rates in the two counties -- 3.7 percent in Miami-Dade and 3.9 percent in Broward -- remain solidly better than the state overall.
